I will be competing at the "Cooking on the Coosa" this weekend. Beautiful venue on the banks of the Coosa River. Pro and Backyard divisions. Expecting a big turnout! I know of at least 3 Stumps teams competing. Will let you know how we fair.

Well, We took 5th in butts, top 4 used sauce and I didn't. I have always assumed if you use sauce on competition meat your trying to hide something. Maybe I'm just a little disappointed, really was proud of my product at this event. Oh well, on to the next one. Anybody know a good recipe for sauce?

Good Going! No, judges seem to like sauce. They'll tell you that they don't, but your score in this contest say differently. :? ;)

Big Bob Gibson's Red sauce should work well in Alabama.

BOB
I know, that wasn't a recipe, but if you ask those other teams if they bought or made their sauce... ;)
