Nice looking shack....I need one of those ....

The added chimney pipe and fan thru the wall at the top...Do you run the fan when smoking?
Does that create a draft thru the smoker and raise cooking temps? Or does the air break between cooker and chimney eliminate that?

Just trying to learn. I have my cooker under a carport roof. I have a fan blowing across the ceiling to clear out the smoke. Looking for a better way...

I do leave the fan running when I am smoking. This is a 1600 cfm fan which is a little overkill but it was free. Ideally I would like to have a 400 - 500 cfm fan.
There are no drafting problems, see Bob's explanation.

Thanks

Awesome work.

That is one fancy looking "shack" it's more like a "Cooking Castle"

Great attention to the little details, with the finished off soffit and eaves.

You completed a project that you should be very proud of, and making the neighbors jealous.

I love the picture timeline also, from a bed of dirt to the first completed cook.

Thank you for the update.
