Chad, I know that you know lots more about wood than I do, but this is a pressure treated wood that is (supposedly) made for wet locations, like the way it rains in central Florida. I helped a friend build a deck with the same stuff about 3 years ago, and it's still looking just about the way it did new, except for the grease, traffic areas and ember burns. :o

No high heels around here. Mostly barefoot or Crocs. Yeah, I know about bare feet, Crocs and fire and embers. Wearing shoes and sox got me a worser  burn 'cuz I couldn't get the ember off my foot fast enough, and ruined my sock. :?

That lizzard eats mosquitoes. I've seen him catch at least 2...ZAP! Right out of the air. I've also seen him crawl over the cat's tail and she just watches him. ;)

Yeah, Snow White loves the deck, but isn't quite sure how SHE feels about the new chain link fence and GATE! It's been raining almost constantly since the fence went in, so no pictures of it, yet.

BOB

Maybe, if he shows up. ;)

This'ns an Anole distantly related to a chamelean. Changes from very bright green to a dark brown, and every color in between. The older males can add mottling to the colors for better camoflage. He's a friend. See him almost every day and he really loves to eat bugs. He and The Cat mostly ignore each other. He hasn't lost his tail since I've seen him, but some on the side yard are growing back from stubbies.

BOB
and it'd take maybe a dozen of the large Anoles to make one bite. ;)

Bob,

More details please... Will the Monster fit past the condenser sideways? How heavy is the Monster? How wide and deep is the ditch? Can you recruit one person who can recruit more? The last two times I moved I used college athletes, think football O Linemen! I'm thinking their 15 minutes of work moving the Monster and they get some barbeque at a later time? The deck is the ticket, just trying to be creative to get your cook machine to the deck!
