Here's pictures from my first cook with Marty. Smoked a rack of spares, some countries, and rib tips from the spares. I couldn't believe the flavor compared to other ribs I've cooked in the past whether it was in the oven or on my Performer. Baby was rock solid temperature wise and when I added the NanoQ, it was like a whole new world of cooking. The NanoQ immediately took Baby to the disignated Temp and held it there! Can't wait for this weekend to show off to my sons. They AIN'T GONNA BELIEVE IT!!! Gonna do a brisket and some chicken. Will start the brisket early then add the chicken later. Oh! Gotta do my ducks and goose too!

A note to anyone out there who may be contemplating pulling the trigger on a Stumps. PULL THE TRIGGER!!! You will never regret it! Forgot a picture of my mojo but it was dark when I finished. I'll get it very soon!!

I need to work on the pictures of my food.

Ray,

It looks great, and it keeps getting better and better. Once again congratulations.

Ray, Great looking Stumps color and honeymoon cooking!

Now I am really getting pumped waiting for "The Call"!!

What was the prep for the ribs? Rub/sauce? I think that's going to be my first cook as well.

Don,

Did the TX BBQ. Worchestershire sauce then sprinkled with TX BBQ Rub then put in the fridge for 4 hours. Cooked for 4 1/2 hrs at 250*. No sauce this time. It was awsome. Did some rib tips with 2 cups of Ole Ray's Apple & cinnamon BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup of honey. The country style ribs were fixed for the Mrs. with just s&p and olive oil. Used cherry wood. I'm still licking my lips! I was somewhat pressed for time but the food was tasty, tender and tantilizing. Baby Marty was outstanding. ROCK SOLID!!
