That kind of inspector is usually the most critical.
Glad you passed, though I never would have doubted it. ;)

Awesome pic Gary!!! 1 question though, what draft controller do you use? Are those plastic boxes that encase them? I pwould like to see how it was done if that is the case. Thanks for sharing.

Those blue princes sure did pull alot of attention. I had the previledge of cooking beside Gary this weekend. Really nice people he and his wife are. They helped me out with my lights. Thanks Gary :D I thought he was gonna have to start charging for tours with the people coming around asking about those cookers. Just goes to show how well these things are built, cook, and attention they grab.

Anytime John. BBQ people always help each other out!

Adam,
I use 2 DigiQ II's. You are correct about the plastic boxes. I bought 2 plastic boxes in the housewares section of the grocery store. I believe they are "supposed" to be used in the shower to hold soap, shampoo, etc. They have 2 plastic suction cups on the back of them and have holes throughout as to let it drain and dry. I drilled 3 of the holes on the bottom a bit larger to be able to fit the pit probe, fan and electric connections through them. I then just cut out a square section from the front of it to be able to access the controls and see the temp. It works perfect as I just stick it on the smoker wherever I want. Just pops right off and leaves no marks.
I think the container cost about $3. I can take a closeup pic of it if you like. Works like a charm
