My Stump Baby was born in March of 2010. AFter painstaking thought I decided i was ready to adopt. Stump said I could adopt it if I was committed to giving it a good home. I took a look at my deck on the back of my house and decided the 10x20 deck wasn't going to be a suitable home for a Baby as special as this one.

From all my research I knew this Baby would need some space to realize its full potential. It took well over a year to give this Baby a loving home.

Here is what happened over the next year.

*The deck was enlarged from 10x20 to 30x30
*A 12x12 section wss sunken one step down and wrapped with seating on three sides.
*An 8x8 Charcoal Containment area was attached to the house. With three levels of storage with entry at grade level and deck level. The Baby decided she didnt need all the space for all her stuff so she lets me store some garden tools in there as well.
*To keep the Baby out of the elements I added a hip roof that wraps around the corner of the house and covers the charcoal contaihment area and the cooking area.
*I decided the Baby needed her own prep area and added a 4x10 bar with a sink and fridge. Two feet of the counter is at bar height and two feet at counter height. Underneath is plenty of storage.
*For those long hours of Babysitting I added a flatscreen TV to give us something entertaining while the Baby does her thing.

We decided the call the whole endeavor Meatapalooza Bar, Grill and Smoke Shack.

Wow! ;) :D 8-)

I better not let the triplets see that, they'd want 3 times as much space.

When the time comes to adopt another one I will have to build up and add a second story. Hmmm maybe I can stack them?.

I thought about that once...the stack of one would get in the way of the grease pan of the other... :? :o

Nice set up and you might want to put something under the door to catch the grease drippings when you slide the racks out.
