I have heard good things about it, but I have also heard it is (relatively) expensive, and it is hard to find.
If you can get it and if you are happy with the price, GET IT!

It can have very large pieces, so if you do find it and the pieces are huge, you will need to break it up in order for it to work in your Gravity Feed Chute.
I wish I could find some for my Tailgater ;) 'cuz the larger pieces should work very well in my charcoal tray...

It's by far my favorite lump charcoal, and I could get twice the burn out of wicked good weekend warrior than I could for the same pile of royal oak. The royal oak is much lighter, and the wicked good is a heavy dense wood. No pallet pieces or moon rocks whatsoever. That said, I only used it in my egg and would prefer to stick with royal oak briquettes in my XL baby. I wouldn't even want to attempt to break wicked good down into "chute friendly" pieces. I had some pieces in bags before that were small burnt logs. Great coal, but not ideal for chute use in my opinion.

Thanks for the first-hand experience. I bet if I could find some, it would work in a Monster's chute.

I found some today, never heard of it before and the name on the bag is what stopped me. Going to try it out early in the morning. Glad to hear good things about it.

Bob, It would probably work great in the Monster. Check with your local Ace hardware. I know around here, they have some sort of deal with the company and can get pallets delivered or order the bags you need and save the shipping costs. Might be worth checking out.

bob i have no doubt the monster will have no problems with that wicked que lump. ive cooked thru about 3 bags of it and it is a VERY good product. i dont fool around with it on the baby, but with the classic as long as i am paying attention (who woulda thunk!) works just fine.
