Weather was in upper 70's Yahoo :D .. I've been disappointed with my ribs so luckily I came across a BBQ Rib cooking video that looked very interesting, so I decided to order his rub and cook some Baby Backs and Spares using the "Texas BBQ Rub's" Method..The cooking method involves leaving the rib membrane on the ribs, some thing I've NEVER done before and applying French’s Worcestershire Sauce, another thing I wouldn't of done..As per Video, I applied the French’s Worcestershire Sauce, added the rub and started my cooker using LUMP, another thing I don't do, I've had to many problems with Lump and today I used the cheap stuff, Cowboy Lump  So cooker took way to long to get up to 225-F, maybe it was the Lump charcoal not sure, once smoker reached 225-f I threw the ribs on and let them go, rotating about every 1.5 hrs.. End result, the ribs were dead on for tender and juicy, I used the "Grand Champion Rub" on my BB, it has black pepper so it has some kick, but isn't to bad. On my Spares I used the "Original BBQ Rub" It is the combination of sweet and the hint of heat...Lesson learned: I'll never pull the rib membrane off again, the thing acted as a heat shield I believe and kept ribs from drying out, the Cook in video was correct.. I never spritzed or mopped during cook.

You have some nice platters of ribs. Great job.

Enjoyed watching the video also. Always nice learning other techniques and tips. It was interesting on no membrane removal. Makes sense though.

I had that video feed to my face book page and decide to try it, I liked the color of his ribs and cooking method so I ordered his rubs and cooked up some racks of ribs following the video. I'd say my ribs are close in color and tenderness as his, even using French’s Worcestershire Sauce tasted great on ribs..Next time I mite not add as much rub since it has some pepper kick

Great post and video link. I've done ribs membrane on with great results. Scored em not scored, wrapped unwrapped. If you reheat on an open flame that membrane burns off what's left is crispy, no flavor but crispy is nice.
Membrane left on doesn't bother me one bit, tastes great either way! :D
